October 15 and 16 saw Defacto at the Sage User Network Conference at the Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham.
The launch of Defacto's DefCapture bar coded data capture solution built into Sage was a great success. Positioned away from the top-end full Warehouse Management solution available from Datalinx, the product generated lots of interest from the conference attendees.

Alec Willis and Melvin Fletcher of Datalinx go 'head to head' with laser scanners at the show. The outcome was never in doubt as Alec had set his phaser to stun and reset Melvin's gun to 'minor ache' mode. "We always have loads of fun with the Datalinx guys and we've done many shows working together. We see the two products as entirely complementary and aimed at different market places, underlying the range of top quality solutions available in the Sage Line 500 and 1000 market". |  |
