Defacto offers a renewable product licence for every module and every bespoke project it ships, subject to the life of the underlying Sage product.   This includes legacy Sage solutions on extended support.  We guarantee to support the "Sage for Life!" premise.

For our modular software, business can also benefit from major enhancements which introduce exciting new functionality.

Software maintenance, which is usually organized through the Sage Partner network, provides the Sage Partner with the services and tools necessary to support the end user business.   For Sage solutions on extended support Defacto is working with the Sage Partners to provide a support plan tailored to each end user and aligned to migrating off the Sage product and our product before that end of life.

Technical advice and assistance is included as well as software management.

As part of the maintenance process we will issue service packs as necessary which will include remedies and minor enhancements.

Updates also include all current legal and fiscal changes, except for Sage solutions on extended support, where Sage is no longer providing this.

We also provide upgrades of our modular software to the latest version of Sage 1000 and Sage Line 500 where possible and subject to commercial terms, licensing and installation requirements, and Sage End of Life statements, so you can be sure your investment in Defacto software is protected.
